James Roe Announces Partnership with Global Allergy and Airways Patient Platform
VIENNA, AUSTRIA- Irish racing driver James Roe and the Global Allergy and Airways Patient Platform, known as GAAPP, are delighted to announce a partnership for the remainder of the 2023 INDY NXT™ by Firestone championship season.
Roe will display the GAAPP logo on his racing helmet as he pilots the No. 29 Andretti Autosport car this season in the INDY NXT championship, the development series for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
“As someone who has dealt with the effects of asthma my entire life on and off the track, I know how debilitating atopic diseases can be,” Roe said. “I’m proud to be partnering with GAAPP to grow awareness and help the needs of people struggling with asthma everywhere. My journey is proof that even with asthma you can still chase your dreams.”
Since 2009, GAAPP has led the charge to support and empower patients dealing with allergies, airways, and atopic diseases throughout the world. GAAPP has more than 60 constituent members from every continent sharing the best practices and insisting on government’s duty to protect patient’s rights.

Roe is one of the top Irish race drivers in the world. Originally from Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland, Roe has found success all over the world in his racing journey. He has won races in British Formula Ford, US Formula 3, USF Pro 2000 and most recently in European GT3.
The 24-year-old sits ninth in the championship standings after five races with nine races remaining. Roe and his fellow drivers see action again on June 18th they travel to the storied course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix at Road America with live coverage in the United States on Peacock.
