Indianapolis, Ind. (Thursday, August 10, 2023)– James Roe looks to continue his strong form at the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway after a season-best fourth place on the streets of Nashville last weekend.

Racing worlds collide this weekend as the INDY NXT™ by Firestone series takes on Indy’s 2.4-mile, 14-turn road course in conjunction with the NTT INDYCAR series and NASCAR’s Cup and Xfinity series.With star drivers from across the globe converging on the Racing Capital of the World,  the INDY NXT field will practice, qualify, and race on Friday  in the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix.

Headed into the weekend Roe and his No. 29 Topcon Andretti Autosport team sit seventh in the championship standings with 219 points – with their eyes on the slim six point gap to sixth place.

“I’m really excited to get back to Indy this weekend,” Roe said. “We’re coming off the back of a really solid weekend with a lot of pace in Nashville and things are really clicking on the No. 29 side. Let’s keep it going into the final stretch of the season.”

Indy’s road course has been good to Roe before as  he finished seventh there in the third race of the INDY NXT season taking home a strong haul of points. . The Irish driver continues to set his sights on the podium and the championship standings for his team and partners –Topcon, CES Power, Strong Roots, Ring Power Corporation, The Ireland Funds, and GAAPP.
