Lexington, OH. (Wednesday, June 28, 2023)- After a strong drive at Road America, Irish driver James Roe looks to continue his climb of the  championship standings at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Roe’s five top-ten finishes are tied for the most in the INDY NXT™ by Firestone series this year. This  consistency has earned  147 points and eighth position in the championship standings for partners Topcon, CES Power, Strong Roots, Ring Power Corporation, The Ireland Funds, and GAAPP..

The No. 29 Topcon Andretti Autosport team has the right man in Roe to navigate the elevation changes, various corner speeds, and narrow racing ribbon at Mid-Ohio.  Roe has a wealth of  experience  at the storied track including a USF Pro 2000 win and a top-ten Indy NXT finish in 2021.

“Excited to get to Mid-Ohio this weekend,” Roe said. “I got my first USF Pro Championship win at Mid-Ohio and the team has enjoyed a lot of success here, so let’s keep that going.”

Expect Roe to capitalize on his experience as he chases a sixth straight top-ten finish and continued movement up the championship standings at the 13-turn, 2.26-mile road course.
