Roe Confident Ahead Of Kirkistown Challenge
18 year old James Roe, from Naas in County Kildare – heads North this weekend for round three of the Dawson-WAM Northern Ireland Formula Ford 1600 championship at Kirkistown in County Down.
Having raced in both Oulton Park and Knockhill, where he finished second, since his last visit to Kirkistown, Roe is confident of a strong result once again.
The Motorsport Ireland Team Ireland driver now leads the BRSCC Triple Crown series, is joint second in the Kirkistown series and is fourth in the UK National series, despite a non finish at Oulton Park.
“I’m looking forward to a strong weekend and hopefully my first FF1600 win. We have been at the sharp end all season and it should be a great battle with Niall (Murray) and Kevin (O’Hara).”
Both races take place at Kirkistown Race Circuit this Saturday- with updates available on James’s Facebook page during the day- https://www.facebook.com/JamesRoeJunior/
